Yes, and they are one of the most special aspects of studying at a SEK school. As part of an educational network present in 17 countries and 25 schools, our students have access to unique international programs: from academic stays in the United States or the United Kingdom, to sports and cultural competitions that bring together students from across the network, as well as work immersion experiences and sustainability projects in Costa Rica. At SEK, we have highly qualified teachers with international training and experience in active learning methodologies. Many are International Baccalaureate (IB) certified and participate in ongoing professional development programs within our global network. We believe that a strong teaching team is the foundation of a quality education, and that’s why we support our teachers so that every student receives the attention and encouragement they deserve.
